Today, every gift helps Creighton students

December 2, 2025

On this global day of giving, join us in celebrating the power of community as we contribute to the programs and resources that positively impact Creighton students. Every little bit helps on Giving Tuesday! Scroll down to learn more about four important areas on campus that could use your support.

Student Emergency and Retention Fund

Whether it’s covering essential living expenses during a crisis or helping students navigate unexpected challenges, your gift directly supports students when they need it most.

Campus Ministry Retreat Scholarships

Creighton’s Jesuit tradition invites students to embrace spiritual development through transformative experiences. With your generosity, more students can take faith retreats.

Schlegel Center for Service and Justice

By participating in hands-on outreach opportunities and living out Creighton’s mission, students are developing into service-minded leaders who positively impact others. You can help them do more.

General University Scholarships

In addition to helping students manage the cost of tuition, your gift to scholarships opens the door to an unmatched college experience that fosters belonging, purpose and personal growth.

Did you know?

Here’s why your Giving Tuesday gift truly makes a difference for our students:

Transformative retreats

Campus Ministry annually hosts 300 students of all faith traditions for transformative retreats.

More than half of the Campus Ministry budget is dedicated to retreats.

Service and justice trips

Each year, 275 students participate in week-long Schlegel Center for Service and Justice trips.

Every week, the Schlegel Center for Service and Justice rents up to eight vents at $70 apiece to transport 265 students to community service sites.

Unforeseen expenses

Emergency funds help students cover unforeseen expenses, such as food insecurity, transportation challenges or property damage.

Financial boost

A timely financial boost often makes the difference between a student staying at Creighton or leaving.

Nearly all Creighton students rely on scholarships or financial aid.  Scholarships are one of the top deciding factors in Creighton students’ college choice.
