ILAC Summer Dental Health Program
The Creighton Institute for Latin American Concern provides programs in the Dominican Republic that emphasize the importance of global vision and understanding in the education of well-rounded individuals. The Creighton-ILAC Summer Dental Health Program is unique in that we are often able to diagnose and immediately treat patients' chief complaints. We have our limitations as to the services we can provide but often are able to address the symptoms or desires of the community we serve in the Dominican Republic.
How you can help
We would love the Creighton Community's support for this project because the spirit of Creighton is what drives our partnership and program with ILAC. We strive to personify what it means to be Men and Women for and with others when we provide care to those who seek our services. We will utilize these funds to increase the quality and breadth of our dental equipment with the hopes of purchasing dental radiology equipment.
Creighton-ILAC Enriches the Student Experience:
For 50 years, Creighton has been committed to providing students with the opportunity to learn through service in the Dominican Republic. The Creighton-ILAC programs are about a true exchange of gifts. We are grateful for the collaborations we have with faculty and staff across campus who join us to provide an opportunity for students to live in solidarity with and experience the love and hospitality of the Dominican people while at the same time using their skills to serve.
What is Crowdfunding?
It’s an opportunity to share some love with the essential campus causes that need our support. You can make gifts of any size to the Creighton Cupboard, the POM Device (Violence Intervention and Prevention Center/Public Safety), the Student Sustainability Action Fund and the ILAC Summer Dental Health Program.
